My name is Douglas Mitchell, I am a retired Philadelphia Attorney who currently resides in Mobile, Alabama (but I am considering the Digital Nomad lifestyle). I have been interested in different cultures since college and have experienced the cultures of the world while living in Washington, DC, New York City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Dallas, Texas.
I have a passion for conga drumming even though it is almost a lost art. I am so glad the Latino community keeps it alive.
Having experienced so much diverse culture in the major cities I have lived in leaves me yearning to establish a cultural oasis here in Mobile. I feel the major interests in Mobile are Mardi Gras (yes Mobile has a major Mardi Gras every year) and football (Roll Tide) so I want to gather people who love culture and the arts together to form an online community.
